MCPHERSON, Kan. - The Bethel College Cross Country teams took part in the Great Plains Intercollegiate XC Invite. The Thresher Men finished third of five teams while the Women didn't record a team score.
Bethel had three top 25 finishers on the men's side and two on the women's side.
Isaiah Bartel turned in the top finish for the Threshers with a 7th place finish with a time of 27:01.94.
Luke Schmidt finished in 13th with a time of 24:44.22.
Tobin Wise finished 17th with a time of 28:09.38.
Andrew Graber finished 28th with a time of 29:37.41.
Nick Morgan finished 38th with a time of 32:37.18.
Robert Crager rounded out the Bethel finishers in 40th with a time of 34:18.47.
Bethany Schrag was the top finisher for the Threshers on the women's side finishing 14th with a time of 22:58.49.
Elly Bertholf finished two spots behind Schrag with a time of 23:05.47.
Both teams will be back in action on October 22 at the NAIA Mid States hosted by Southwestern College.
