SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark.- The Bethel College Men's Tennis team took on the John Brown Golden Eagles late last week. The Threshers, finally at full strength, came away with the 7-0 victory.
All three doubles teams won to give BC the early 1-0 advantage.
Michael Cech and
Petr Kollar played #1 together where they picked up the 6-4 victory.
Milan Bucek and
Jonah Bergeron played in the #2 spot where they would win 6-1.
Tomas Quercia and
Damian Rosas made up the final doubles pairing, they picked up a 6-4 victory as well.
Bucek continued in the #1 singles spot following his stellar performance at the ITA Regional. He won his match in three sets 6-2, 2-6, 11-9. Cech, back in the lineup, played at #2 where he picked up a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Sanchez played at #3 where he won in two sets, 6-3, 6-4. Kollar took down his opponent 6-1, 6-3. Quercia played #5 where he won 6-4, 6-1. Rosas turned in a two set victory as well winning 6-0, 6-1.
The Threshers will be back on the court on February 7th as they begin their spring season against Emporia State.
