WINFIELD, Kan. - Both Bethel College Cross Country teams took part in the NAIA MidStates hosted by Southwestern College on Saturdy Morning. The Thresher women didn't record a score while the men finished 16th.

Bethany Schrag turned in the top finish for the Threshers in the women's 5K finishing 107th with a time of 23:09.07.

Lynnzey Young finished 151st with a time of 32:57.73.

For the Threshers in the men's 8K, Isaiah Bartel turned in the top finish in 64th with a time of 28:20.66.

Luke Schmidt was the Threshers next top finisher in 99th with a time of 29:49.99.

Just two positions behind Schmidt was Tobin Wise, finishing with a time of 29:52.57.

Robert Crager finished 140th with a time of 31:27.45.

Daniel Kaufman finished 149th with a time of 32:23.33.

Nick Morgan and Matthew Fleck rounded out the Thresher finishers with time of 32:35.49 and 33:30.72 to finish 153rd and 162nd.

Both teams will be back in action on Saturday, November 5th as they compete in the KCAC Championships held in Winfield, Kan.
