STERLING, Kan. - The Bethel College Men's Tennis team took on the Sterling College Warriors in game two of their three game road trip. The Threshers did not drop a single set as they handily own 7-0.
The Threshers picked up two doubles wins as
Michael Cech and
Milan Bucek, #1, won 6-0 and
Nolan Schrader and
Jordan Singh, #2, won 6-4. The #3 doubles team of
Tomas Quercia and
James Menard won by default.
At #1 singles, Cech won with a pair of 6-0 victories to not drop a single game to the Warriors. Bucek won his first set 6-1 before cruising to a 6-0 set two victory at #2 singles. Schrader handled his business at #3 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory. Quercia won by the same score at #4 singles, 6-0, 6-1. Singh, at #5, won 6-2, 6-3 while Menard picked up the win via default at #6 singles to complete the sweep.
The Threshers will be back in action on Monday after noon as they take on McPherson College with first serve set for 3:30 PM in McPherson.
