LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Bethel College Men's Tennis team took on the Ottawa Braves at the Genesis Health Club of Lawrence at their indoor courts. The Threshers, the 5 seed, fell to the Braves, the 4 seed, 4-2.
Bethel dropped a pair of 6-3 doubles matches at the #1 and #2 position to give Ottawa the point.

Nolan Schrader was the first singles match to finish as he dropped his competition 6-3, 6-2 as Ottawa took a 2-0 advantage.
Michael Cech got the Threshers on the board with a three set victory at #1 singles after dropping his opening set 7-5. Cech finished the match off with 6-1, 6-2 set victories.
Milan Bucek dropped a three set thriller at #2 singles 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.
Joaquin Pluis, #5 singles, finished next as he picked up a three set victory 6-2, 4-6, 6-1.
Tomas Quercia needed to pick up a victory at #4 singles to keep the Threshers hopes alive. He won the first set 7-5, lost the second set 6-2 and fell in the third set 7-6(4) as the Braves took the match 4-2.
Jordan Singh was down one set to none in his match, but was leading the second set when the contest finished.
This match concluded the Threshers 2021-22 campaign.
