Bethel College (KS)

Connor Mickens begins his first year as an assistant coach after a successful four-year playing career at Bethel.  Originally from Meridan, Kansas, Mickens attended Jefferson West High School and also played basketball at Bethel his freshman year.

Mickens was part of the Bethel 2017-2018 NAIA Champions of Character and Academic National Championship teams.  He also became the first CoSIDA Academic All-American in Bethel school history after his senior season as well as being named a Golf Coaches Association of America All-American Scholar-Athlete.  Mickens earned two individual top-five finishes as a senior.

Connor has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, minor in Sports Management and certification in Coaching.  He is currently employed as an Assistant Golf Professional at Terradyne Country Club in Wichita.
