Kameron is in his 1st season as Assistant Coach for both Track and Field programs.
He comes to Bethel from Central Maine Community College where he spent six months as the head coach for the school’s women's and men's cross country and track and field programs. Blanding spent time coaching at Montreat College, Holy Family College, Northwest Kansas Technical College and Central Christian College of Kansas.
While at Montreat College, he led the Cavaliers to two AAC Conference Championships, one in indoor and one in outdoor track. While at Central Christian College, he coached the #3 ranked NAIA Men's Track and Field Team in the country.
Blanding has coached over 100 National Meet Qualifiers, 19 All-Americans and an individual National Champion in the NJCAA Half Marathon in 2019 during his short coaching career.
Kameron competed at both Ottawa University and Central Christian College, graduating from Central Christian in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Kameron is a graduate of Pike Valley High School in Scandia, Kan. where he was a part of two Kansas 1A Cross Country State Team Championships and one Team Runner-up.
Blanding is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Leadership.
