Kelly Parsley is in his first season at the helm of Thresher Cross Country, as well as Track & Field.
Parsley previously led the cross country and track & field programs at Point Park University (NAIA), from 2014-2019. He was charged with the creation of the Pioneer track & field program, with which he quickly turned into an NAIA powerhouse.
Parsley is a 10-time Coach of the Year, and has coached 14 NAIA All-Americans and five NAIA individual national champions before his time at Bethel.
Parsley brings a wealth of knowledge to Bethel, as he has led multiple programs in the NAIA, as well as at the NCAA Division II and Division III levels. His previous stops include Lindenwood-University Belleville (NAIA), Webster University (NCAA DIII), Lake Forest College (NCAA DIII), and Goldey Beacom College (NCAA DII).
Parsley's teams are also regularly bestowed with NAIA All-Academic recognition, as awarded by the USTFCCCA, and are full of NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Parsley is a 1996 graduate from the California University of Pennsylvania, where he received his bachelor of arts in communications, and competed on the track and field team.
