Bethel College (KS)

Miles enters his 28^th year of coaching and his first at Bethel College. Prior to coming to Bethel, Miles spent 27 years as an assistant at Fresno Pacific University in California.

Miles brings a wealth of experience coaching all events. He will work primarily with the throwers.

“Mike brings some good experience to our program,” said Threshers head coach Jeff Hoskisson. “I have known Mike for many years and I think he can really help our program grow.”

During his time at FPU, Miles coached 4 NAIA national champions, and 22 NAIA all-Americans. Over that same time period, 19 of his athletes won conference individual titles in the Golden State Athletic Conference.

Miles is originally from Bakersfield, California. He moved to Newton, Kansas with his wife, Debbie Hartman. He works additionally for the Newton School District as a para in the Adaptive Physical Education program.
