Collin Loutensock returned to Bethel College for his second stint as Assistant Athletic Director for Communications ahead of the 2026-27 academic year.
During his first tenure with the Threshers, Loutensock played a key role in promoting the accomplishments of Bethel student-athletes and coaches. Under his leadership in athletic communications, Bethel earned 64 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selections, 60 KCAC Player of the Week honors, 22 NAIA All-America awards, three NAIA National Player of the Week honors, and three Academic All-America selections.
Loutensock came to Bethel after serving two years as Sports Information Director at Newman University in Wichita, Kansas. At Newman, he managed the university's SIDEARM Sports website, coordinated statistics for all athletic programs, designed graphics, oversaw the athletic department's social media presence, and produced live broadcasts and video content using BlueFrame Technology. He also supervised student workers and graduate assistants while coordinating game-day operations, including event setup and teardown.
A former collegiate baseball player, Loutensock began his playing career at Hesston College, where he was a two-time Region VI Pitcher of the Year and a two-time All-Region selection. He concluded his collegiate career at NCAA Division II Newman University. A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Loutensock also competed in basketball during his high school years. Throughout his time at both Hesston College and Newman University, he earned honor roll recognition every semester and graduated magna cum laude from Newman.
Before joining Newman as Sports Information Director, Loutensock served as an athletic department assistant at Hesston College. He earned an Associate of Science degree in Exercise Science from Hesston College and a bachelor's degree in Sports Communication from Newman University in 2018. He is expected to complete a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Leadership from Newman University in December 2026.
Loutensock and his wife, Kelsey, reside in Hesston, Kansas, with their daughter, Laken, and their two Goldendoodles, Archie and Wrigley.
