HILLSBORO, Kan. - The Bethel College Men's Basketball team traveled to take on the Tabor Bluejays for their last competition before the holiday break. After the first five minutes of the contest, it was all Threshers as they held a 24 point lead after the first half and were able to coast home for an 84-51 victory.
The Threshers started the first half slow as they missed five shots and had three turnovers in the first five minutes of the game. From around the fifteen minute mark in the opening period on, it was all Bethel. The Threshers were able to outscore the Bluejays 37-11 after the first five minutes.
Bryant Mocaby led the Threshers in the first half with 11 points on 3 of 3 shooting from three point range.Â
Bethel came out in the second half ready to keep pouring it on shooting over 51% from the floor and 50% from three point range in the final period. The Threshers held the Bluejays to just over 12% shooting from three point range in the second half. The Bethel players that were subbed in when Coach
Jayson Artaz cleared his bench did not miss a beat as they kept the shot making alive.
