2021 KCAC Football Virtual Media Day Press Release

WICHITA, Kan. — The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) will conduct a virtual media day for the 2021 football season, the conference office announced today. The event will take place Thursday, August 5, starting at 1 p.m.

The event will be broadcast on Facebook Live beginning at 1 p.m. Visit www.facebook.com/kcacsports for more details leading up to the event and to watch it that day. Media members and fans alike will have the opportunity to ask questions through the Comments section on the live stream. The conference office will screen questions before submitting to coaches.

Questions for individual coaches should be submitted through the Comments section of the live stream.

Following the media day activities, media members will be asked to participate in a preseason poll for the projected finish of the 2021 season. Head coaches will also be polled. Both preseason polls will be released to the public shortly after media day activities end.

2020 Bethel Recap: After being picked to finish second in the KCAC preseason polls, the Threshers would compile a record of 9-2 (6-1), securing their first conference championship since 2007 and first NAIA FCS appearance since 2006. Bethel finished the season ranked No. 12 in the NAIA polls after a loss to eventual national champion Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) in the first round of the playoffs. The Threshers brought home a program-record 26 All-KCAC honors and specialty awards, as well as an additional three All-Americans to cap off their historic season.

2021 Preview: The reigning KCAC Head Coach of the Year, Terry Harrison returns for his fourth season at the helm for Bethel football. The Threshers graduate a strong senior class, but will retain many key contributors from last year's championship team. Returning All-Americans offensive-lineman Keegan Martin, linebacker Josh Seabolt, and defensive-back Trey Palmer will look to lead the Threshers to back-to-back championship seasons for the first time since 2006/2007.
