Match Up of Two Top 25 Teams Set to Take Place in Thresher Stadium Saturday

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The no. 10 ranked Bethel Threshers are set to host the no. 24 ranked Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes Saturday evening inside Thresher Stadium.
 
The Threshers are looking to snap a 12 game losing streak to the Coyotes as they are the only team that Head Coach Terry Harrison has yet to beat during his time in North Newton.
 
Bethel is coming off of a historic game against the Friends Falcons where they would score the third-highest points in a single game (59) and run for the second most yards in a single game (543). The Threshers are averaging 41.5 points per game, 501.5 yards of total offense per game, and 451 yards per game rushing, the highest in the country by over 120 yards per game. 
 
The Thresher ground game is led by QB Landon Barnes who averages 138.5 yards per game. RB Chantz Scurry adds in another 110 yards per game. Mark Lanier, Josh Seabolt, and Phillip Williams lead the defense for Bethel as they all average 5 tackles per contest.
 
Kansas Wesleyan is coming off of a 31-7 victory over Sterling. The Coyotes are averaging 48 points per game, 527 yards per game, 281 yards per game, and 246 yards on the ground per game. 
 
The Coyotes attack is led by QB Isaiah Randalle who is averaging 271.5 yards passing per game. The ground attack for KWU is led by CJ Fluker who is averaging 81.5 yards per game. Stevie Williams is averaging 103.5 receiving yards per game, while Eren Jenkins is averaging 99 receiving yards per game.

For your quickest entrance we strongly advise you purchase tickets prior to arriving to Thresher Stadium.
 
All Bethel Thresher home athletic events and KCAC Conference away events can be watched on the KCAC Network at kcacnetwork.com/bethel. The KCAC Network app is also available for download in the Apple Store, Google Play, Amazon Firestick, Apple TV, Roku, and on your smart tv.
 
Thresher Stadium Capacity Info, Self-screening, and Mask Info:
  • Total capacity will be allowed at all Bethel College Athletic events*
  • Spectators are expected to self-screen for any symptoms before entering either Thresher Stadium.
  • The Bethel College color-coding system will determine whether masks will be required.
Currently, there are no capacity limitations for athletic events, face masks are recommended but not required while sitting socially distanced. This is subject to change based upon what Covid color Bethel is in during a particular time during the year.
