SALINA, Kan. - The Bethel College Men's Soccer team took on the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes as they looked to move up the conference standings. The Threshers dropped the contest 2-1 after giving up one goal in each half.
The Coyotes got on the board first in just the fourth minute.Â
Bethel evened the match in the 51st minute on a goal by
Adalsteinn Kristinsson, assisted by
Juan Demichelis and
Cristobal Goldberg.
Kansas Wesleyan got back on top of the scoreboard in the 63rd minute.
The Threshers out-shot the Coyotes 14(6) to 11(6) with each team receiving three cards.
Bethel will be back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 19th as they take on the Sterling Warriors with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 PM.
