YORK, Neb. - The Bethel College Men's Soccer team took on the York Panthers on Saturday afternoon as they looked to keep their playoff hopes alive with a win. Unfortunately for the Threshers, they came out on the wrong side of a 3-0 contest.

York opened the scoring very early in the matchup as they found the back of the net in just the seventh minute.Â

After trailing 1-0 after the opening 45 minutes, Bethel was unable to keep the Panthers from extending their lead as they found the back of the net once more in the 54th minute.

The Panthers were able to add in a late goal as they advanced their lead to 3-0 in the 87th minute.Â

Bethel was out-shot 12(8) to 8(3) by York in the loss.

The Threshers fell 3-0 in a game that they severely needed if they wanted a chance to sneak into the KCAC tournament. Â

This contest was the final one for the Threshers in their 2022 campaign.
