WINFIELD, Kan. - The Bethel College Women's Soccer team hit the road as they continued KCAC play against the Southwestern Moundbuilders. The Threshers gave up a goal in each of the two halves as they dropped the contest 2-0.

It took either team more than two thirds of the opening 45 to break the nill-nill tie. The Moundbuilders found the back of the net in the 34th minute as they took the 1-0 advantage into the halftime break. 

Southwestern pushed their lead to two in the 56th minute.

Despite being out-shot by SWC, 12-7, Bethel was very efficient with their shots as six of their seven shots were on goal. Grace Anderson and Claire Hedlund led the Threshers in shots with two apiece.

The Threshers will be back on the pitch on Saturday, Oct. 8th as they travel to take on a top 10 opponent in Oklahoma Wesleyan at 5 PM.
