NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College women's volleyball team took on the Randall Saints inside Thresher Gym for a non-conference matchup.
The Threshers controlled the pace from the get go jumping out to an early 6-1 advantage in the first set. With the score 8-5 in favor of the host, Bethel rattled off 16 unanswered points. With the Saints facing match point, they scored two straight points. Bethel closed out the match on the following point to take the set 25-7.
Bethel came out of the side switch and continued to put the pressure on Randall. The Threshers jumped out to a large early lead and continued to control the contest all the way to the end as they cruised to a 25-11 second set victory.Â
Looking to put an end to the match early, Bethel took their game up another notch. The Threshers scored eight straight points early on in the match to take a 10-4 advantage. BC turned in another long streak rallying for five straight points to all but put the game away as they led 19-6. The two teams traded points till the end of the match as Bethel took the set 25-10 and the match 3-0.

Mia Roman turned in 14 assists in the match. Both
Kaitlyn Shima and
Brooke Russell turned in 9 digs a piece to lead the Thresher defense.
The Threshers will be back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 6th as they host Northwestern Oklahoma State for an exhibition match.
