NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College men's basketball team fell to No. 17 Kansas Wesleyan 79-62.
Kansas Wesleyan held on to a lead for much of the opening half. Bethel led for the final six minutes of the opening half as they closed out on a 13-6 run capped off by a
Christion Whitaker dunk.
The Threshers got their largest lead of the contest at the 17 minute mark of the second half when they led by five, 39-34.Â
For the next 14 minutes of the contest, KWU went on an absolute tear as they shot 15 of 19 from the floor outscoring Bethel 44-17 on their way to the 79-62 victory.
