Men's Basketball picks up 70-58 over McPherson on Senior Night

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College Men's Basketball trailed by five points at the half, but outscored the Bulldogs by 17 in the second half as they pulled away for the 70-58 victory.

The first half was a low scoring affair as McPherson was playing stall ball, trying to limit the amount of possessions in the contest. Their attempts worked as they held Bethel to just 20 points in the quarter, their lowest scoring quarter of the season.

The Threshers came out of the break on fire as they scored the first ten points of the frame to take their first lead of the night, 30-20.

Bethel went on a 21-8 run in the first eight minutes of the second half to open up a 41-33 lead. BC reached the double-digit advantage at the 10:45 mark in the final frame as they led 46-35.

With just five minutes left in the half, Bethel reached a 20 point lead as they led 66-46. The Threshers never led by less than 12 points the rest of the way as they cruised to the 70-58 victory.
