NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College Men's Tennis team picked up the sweep of John Brown 7-0.
Milan Bucek and
Petr Kollar picked up the win at #1 doubles 6-2 over JBU's Dick/Thoma.
Rodrigo Sanchez and
Tomas Quercia won at #2 doubles 6-0.
Damian Rosas and
Jonah Bergeron picked up the 6-3 victory at #3 doubles to complete the sweep.
Bucek, playing in the #1 spot, picked up the tiebreaker victory 6-2, 0-6, 10-8 over the #12 ranked player in the central region. Sanchez played at #2 doubles where he won 6-4, 6-2.
Kollar, playing #3, won 6-0, 6-2. Quercia won 6-4, 6-2 in the #4 position. Rosas, in the #5 position, won via tiebreaker 6-3, 3-6, 10-3. Bergeron rounded out the sweep with a 6-4, 6-1 victory at #6.
The Threshers will be back in action on Saturday, March 11th as they host Texas A&M Texarkana with first serve set for 10:00 AM.
