SALINA, Kan. - The Bethel College Flag Football team took on the Midland Warriors hosted at Kansas Wesleyan. The Threshers fell to the Warriors 42-6, scoring their second touchdown of the season.

The scoring opened up just a few minutes into the game when Midland sacked Bethel's quarterback,
Kylah Rome, in the endzone for a safety. The Warriors scored two touchdowns in the quarter to take a 16-0 lead after the opening 12 minutes of play.Â

Bethel got on the board at the 4:47 mark of the second quarter when Rome ran the ball in from nine yards out making the score 16-6 for Midland.

The Warriors scored twice under the two-minute warning to take a 30-6 lead at the break.Â

The rest of Midland's scoring came in the third quarter as they punched the ball in twice.Â

Neither team scored in the fourth quarter as Midland took the game 42-6.

The Threshers will be back in action tomorrow, April 6th as they travel to Leavenworth, Kan. to take on the Saint Mary Spires at 1:00 PM.
