NORTH NEWTON, Kan. — Bethel College Athletics has announced the resignation of head flag football coach Felicia Teeter, who will be stepping into a new role as running backs coach at John Carroll University.
Teeter, who was hired on April 4, 2024, led the Thresher flag football program over the past two seasons. During her time at Bethel, she played a key role in building and promoting the program while also contributing to the success of the Thresher football team.
In addition to her responsibilities as head coach, Teeter served as a defensive analyst and worked closely with the running backs for the Bethel men's football program over the previous two seasons, bringing a well-rounded presence to the sidelines and meeting rooms.
"Coach Teeter did a great job promoting our Flag Football program and also assisting with our football team," said Director of Athletics, Tim Swartzendruber. "We wish her the best in her new endeavor."
Teeter reflected on her time in North Newton with gratitude as she prepares for her next opportunity.
"I truly love the time I have spent here at Bethel and all of the amazing people I was fortunate to get to have in my life: my colleagues, the tremendous student-athletes, and all of the faculty and staff that make everything happen," Teeter said. "I will miss you, though am also so excited to have this opportunity at John Carroll for my next chapter."
Bethel College Athletics thanks Coach Teeter for her dedication and impact on the Thresher community and wishes her continued success in Ohio.
