NORTH NEWTON, Kan. — Bethel College Flag Football dropped a home matchup to Baker on Saturday afternoon, falling 82-0.
Baker controlled the game from the start, building an early lead and continuing to add throughout all four quarters.
Bethel struggled to find offensive rhythm, finishing with limited total yardage through the air and on the ground. Nevaeh Gonzales led the Threshers at quarterback with six completions, while Sarah Contreras hauled in multiple receptions and also recorded an interception on defense.
Defensively, Maira Chiao paced Bethel with four tackles, while several others contributed multiple stops.
