NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College Men's Tennis team fell to the No. 24 ranked McPherson Bulldogs on Thursday afternoon at Ward Tennis Center.
The Threshers dropped all three doubles matches by scores of 6-3 to give the doubles point to the Bulldogs.
Milan Bucek, playing #1 singles against another KCAC Preseason All-KCAC selection in Michael Beltran, won his match in straight sets 6-0, 7-5.
Michael Cech dropped his match 7-5, 6-4.
Rodrigo Sanchez fell at #3 losing the first set in a tiebreaker 7-6(7-5), 6-2.
Petr Kollar won his match at #4 singles to give the Threshers their second point of the contest in two straight tiebreaker sets 7-6(9-7), 7-6(7-2).
Tomas Quercia fell in two straight sets 6-3, 6-2.
Damian Rosas also fell in straight sets 6-3, 6-1.
The Threshers will be back in action on Saturday, April 8th as they travel to Saint Mary to take on the Spires at 11:00 AM.
