WICHITA, Kan. - The Bethel College men's basketball team stymied the Friends Falcons in the second half allowing just seven points to be scored in the first 14 minutes of the second half as they took the contest 62-43.

The first half was a tightly contested matchup as neither team gained much separation from one another as they entered the intermission 19-17 in favor of the Threshers.

After scoring just 19 points in the first 20 minutes, Bethel scored 43 points in the final 20 minutes. Bethel held Friends to just 21% shooting from the floor before calling off the dogs with just over three minutes left to play.

Following the first basket of the half coming from the Falcons, Bethel answered with a 23-0 run led by
Nick Bonner and
Harper Jonas who had 6 points apiece.
