Bethel College Volleyball achieved a milestone victory, sweeping Ottawa University 3-0 for the first time since 2010 in a memorable match at Thresher Gym.
Set 1: Bethel Battles to a Close Win
Bethel opened the match with strong play, overcoming Ottawa's early attacks to secure a tight 26-24 win in the first set. Cameron Offerle led the charge with critical kills, while Darla Crow added solid blocks that kept the Threshers in control during key moments.
Set 2: Bethel Extends Their Lead
In the second set, Bethel built on their momentum, displaying precise teamwork and consistent offense. Mia Roman facilitated Bethel's attack with excellent setting, helping her team secure a 25-21 victory in the second set, widening their lead to 2-0.
Set 3: Bethel Seals the Sweep
The Threshers dominated the third set, taking a commanding lead and finishing with a decisive 25-11 score. Bethel's defense shined as they shut down Ottawa's offensive efforts.
With this win, the Threshers move forward to the KCAC semifinals, where they will face Oklahoma Wesleyan University on Friday, November 15th, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, at 7 PM.
