KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Bethel College women's basketball team picked up a three-point victory on the road over the Avila Eagles.

After both teams played the first quarter even, the Eagles shot 50% from the floor and three-point range to take a five-point lead into the intermission.

The Threshers knocked down four threes in the third quarter, their first made deep shots of the contest as they matched the Eagles 17 points in the frame to trail by five points entering the final 10 minutes.

Bethel held Avila to under 30% shooting in the final frame while knocking down over 43% of their own shot attempts. The Threshers took their first lead since the first quarter at the three-minute mark as they didn't trail on their way to the three-point victory.
