NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College men's golf team hosted the two-day two-venue Bethel Invite at Hesston Golf Course on Saturday and Sand Creek Station on Sunday.
Nathan Gutierrez paced the Threshers over the two days as he turned in an 84 on Saturday before recording an 82 in Sunday's round to finish tied for 7th.
Caleb Koontz finished tied for 10th as he recorded rounds of 89 and 79.
Jacob Regier and
Cayden Cundiff finished tied for 14th with each other as Regier shot 83, 86 and Cundiff shot 82, 87.Â
Luke Riffel finished 18th with rounds of 89 and 86, while
Gavin Rogers finished right behind him in 19th with rounds of 93 and 85.
Eric Schmidt finished 22nd with rounds of 90 and 93.
Kaleb Scripsick finished off the Threshers in the field as he finished 27th with rounds of 101 and 97.
The Threshers will be back in action on April 15th through the 17th for the KCAC Championships held at Buffalo Dunes in Dodge City.
