Hillsboro, Kan. — Bethel dropped a KCAC road matchup to Tabor on Saturday, 36–7, despite a first-quarter spark and a pair of early defensive takeaways.
After Tabor opened with a 47-yard rushing score, the Threshers answered quickly: Tristan Leblanc ripped a 67-yard touchdown run at 4:58 of the first to tie it 7–7. Bethel's defense generated momentum in the opening half with fumble recoveries by Isaac Forbes and Kevin Hill, and Jaric Woodley added two sacks to stall Bluejay drives.
Tabor pulled away with a 15-yard TD pass early in the second, a 1-yard keeper midway through the third, and a pivotal 75-yard punt-return touchdown moments later. A 48-yard TD strike to start the fourth and a late 42-yard field goal closed the scoring.
