Ottawa, Kan. — Bethel Football wrapped up the 2025 season with a 52-24 loss at Ottawa on Saturday.
Bethel finished its season on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Braves 52-24.
Ottawa jumped on Bethel early, taking a 17-0 lead before Hector Santana connected on a 31-yard field goal to get the Threshers on the board. Ottawa answered just 12 seconds later with an 85-yard kickoff return, making the halftime score 23-3.
Bethel responded in the second half with three touchdowns, as Tristan LeBlanc, Trevon Madison, and Xavier Craven each found the end zone. Ottawa also added three second-half touchdowns to reach the final score of 52-24.

Trevon Madison led Bethel in both passing and rushing with 57 yards through the air and 96 yards on the ground in his final game as a Thresher. He also scored on a 35-yard run in the third quarter.

Josiah Buller led Bethel in receiving with 66 yards.

Defensively, Kevin Hill paced the Threshers with 9 total tackles in his final collegiate game.

This concludes the first season under first-year head coach Josh Lawson, finishing with a 3-8 record. Bethel showed signs of growth throughout the season and demonstrated that the program is on the rise in the years to come.
