Bartlesville, Okla. — Bethel men's basketball delivered one of its most impressive performances of the season on Saturday, knocking off No. 10-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan in a rugged, physical KCAC showdown on the road.
From the opening tip, the game carried a playoff-like intensity. Both teams battled for position on every possession, with physical defense, tough rebounds, and hard-earned baskets defining the night. Bethel matched OKWU's physicality throughout, refusing to back down against one of the nation's top-ranked programs.
The Threshers built momentum as the game wore on and eventually pushed the lead to double digits late, holding a 10-point advantage in the closing stretch. Oklahoma Wesleyan made a final push, but Bethel stayed composed, making key defensive stops and controlling the tempo to seal the statement win.
The victory not only strengthens Bethel's résumé, but also places the Threshers tied for third place in the KCAC heading into Christmas break — a significant position as conference play tightens.
