The Bethel College men's basketball team wrapped up a strong season, finishing 16-6 in KCAC play (20-8 overall) and securing a top spot in the conference standings. The Threshers were well represented in the KCAC All-Conference Awards, with Carmelo Yakubu earning First-Team All-Conference, Harper Jonas and Eli Wiseman securing Honorable Mention honors, and Trenton Patterson being named to the All-Freshman Team.
Senior forward Carmelo Yakubu was a dominant force for the Threshers all season long, earning First-Team All-Conference recognition. Yakubu led Bethel in both scoring (15.5 PPG) and rebounding (7.1 RPG), shooting an efficient 50.5% from the field while also dishing out 3.8 assists per game. In conference play, he continued to deliver, averaging 15.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, making him one of the most well-rounded players in the KCAC.
Senior sharpshooter Harper Jonas was one of the most lethal three-point threats in the conference, connecting on 82 three-pointers at a 45.6% clip, ranking him among the KCAC's top perimeter scorers. He averaged 11.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, providing Bethel with a reliable scoring option.
Eli Wiseman also played a key role in the Threshers' success, earning Honorable Mention honors after averaging 12.3 points per game and shooting 39.2% from three-point range. His efficiency at the free-throw line (90% for the season) and ability to stretch the floor made him a valuable contributor on both ends of the court.
Freshman guard Trenton Patterson made an immediate impact in his first collegiate season, earning a spot on the KCAC All-Freshman Team. Patterson provided valuable depth off the bench, averaging 5.7 points per game while shooting an outstanding 49.0% from three-point range. His ability to knock down shots and contribute defensively gave the Threshers an added spark throughout the season
