Thresher Cheer Competes at KCAC Meet

LEAVENWORTH, Kan. — The Bethel College cheer team finished sixth at the KCAC Meet, wrapping up a season marked by growth and achievement. Head coach Joseph Gogus, who was named KCAC Co-Coach of the Year.

"This team has been something special," Gogus said. "They embraced the culture, learning, and buy-in. They are the perfect example of how a team should function. They did everything and more that I asked of them. I just wish I could have had more time to prepare them, as I wholeheartedly believe their statistical outcome would have been much different. I am extremely proud of what they accomplished, including performing a pyramid that has never been competed at the college level, which caught a lot of attention."

Several Threshers earned individual honors. Conor Carey was named Second Team All-KCAC, while Faith Lindley and Gavin Patton received Honorable Mention All-KCAC recognition. Additionally, Bethel had four KCAC Scholar-Athletes: Louisa Lehmann, Conor Carey, Camryn Entz, and Faith Lindley.
