SALINA, Kan.—The Bethel College flag football team couldn't find its footing Wednesday night in Salina, falling 57-0 to a strong Kansas Wesleyan squad. The Coyotes used a relentless pass attack and aggressive defense to control the game from start to finish.
How It Happened
Kansas Wesleyan set the tone early, scoring touchdowns on their first two possessions while capitalizing on short fields. Bethel's offense, meanwhile, struggled to get into a rhythm, recording just 18 total yards on the evening.
The Threshers' defense was put to the test repeatedly, with Kansas Wesleyan scoring in every quarter. Despite the lopsided score, Bethel found bright spots in the effort and hustle on the defensive side.
