NORTH NEWTON, Kan. — Bethel flag football dropped a tough KCAC matchup Wednesday night, falling 68-0 to Southwestern College at Thresher Stadium. The Moundbuilders used a fast start and a pair of pick-sixes to build a commanding lead early.
Bethel's offense totaled 100 passing yards, with Nevaeh Gonzales and Kyndall Longman combining for 10 completions. Gonzales also had a 29-yard reception, the team's longest play of the night.
Xavia Mann led the defense with 10 tackles, while Gonzales added an interception, and Kathryn Schmidt and Lydia Harper broke up passes.
