In the nightcap, Bethel earned another straight-sets victory — this time over New Mexico Highlands, 25–20, 27–25, 25–20. Offerle powered the offense with 16 kills and four service aces for 22.5 total points. Landree Merriman and Dylan Cochran chipped in 5 kills apiece, with Merriman hitting .417. Abby Koontz anchored the defense with 24 digs, and Schutte tallied 16 assists, 12 digs, and a service ace. Sept. 13 • vs. Midwestern State (Exhibition — North Newton, Kan.)

Final: Midwestern State 3, Bethel 0

Back at Thresher Gym on Saturday, Bethel hosted NCAA Division II Midwestern State in an exhibition contest. Offerle contributed 8 kills, while Abby Barger registered 10 kills on .318 hitting. Schutte passed out 15 assists and Koontz collected 13 digs, but the Mustangs took the match in three sets. Despite the result, the match provided valuable reps on the home floor and a chance for Bethel to test rotations against strong opposition.
