Men's Soccer Falls to Tabor

Hillsboro, Kan. - The Bethel men's soccer team battled on the road Wednesday night but fell 4–1 to Tabor in Hillsboro.

The Threshers stayed competitive throughout the first half, conceding just once while goalkeeper Kazimir Kromwijk made three saves to keep the scoreline close. In the second half, Bethel found a breakthrough when Branden Balvanz found the back of the net, finishing a chance that cut into the deficit. Kromwijk added five more stops after the break to finish with eight saves on the night.

Despite the strong effort in goal and stretches of possession, Tabor's three second-half tallies proved too much to overcome. Bethel finished with 10 total shots, placing six on frame, showing improvement in their attacking rhythm.

The Threshers now turn their attention to a tough road test Saturday against reigning conference champion, Oklahoma Wesleyan.
