In the first home match under Head Coach James Lipocky, Bethel earned a 1–1 draw against Texas Wesleyan. The Threshers struck first when Beth Lloyd finished in the 33rd minute, giving Bethel a deserved lead after a steady opening half. The visitors equalized early in the second, but the Threshers controlled long stretches from there and created the better late chances.

Bethel outshot the Rams 17–14, including 9–6 after halftime, and earned all three of its corner kicks in the second half. Malayasia Larque was active up top with five attempts (two on frame), while Regina Mendoza and Madison Davis kept the pressure on with a combined nine shots. In goal, Jacie Scott went the full 90 minutes and recorded four saves to secure the result for the Threshers.
