McPHERSON, Kan. — The Bethel College women's basketball team delivered a dominant performance on Saturday afternoon, rolling past McPherson 103–37 at Holman Fieldhouse to improve to 13–7 overall and 10–4 in KCAC play.

Bethel wasted no time setting the tone, jumping out to a 28–5 lead after the opening quarter and never looking back. The Threshers shot efficiently throughout the afternoon, finishing at 56.9% from the field, while forcing 29 McPherson turnovers and turning those into 40 points.

Karlee Locke led all scorers with 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting, adding nine rebounds, four assists, three steals, and three blocks in a complete all-around effort. Kendall Locke followed with 12 points and seven assists, while Emersyn Eischen chipped in 12 points and five rebounds.

Caryn Yoder provided steady production with 10 points and six assists, while Alayna Vines added eight points, seven rebounds, and two blocks off the bench. Bethel's depth was on full display, as the Threshers scored 41 bench points and saw 14 players record at least one field goal.

Defensively, Bethel controlled the paint with 62 points inside and consistently pushed the tempo, scoring 35 fast-break points while holding McPherson to just 21.4% shooting from the floor.

The victory keeps Bethel firmly in the conference race, sitting just a half-game out of a tie for second place as most of the games scheduled for this past Saturday will finish up tonight.
