NORTH NEWTON, Kan. — Bethel College Women's Basketball placed four student-athletes on the 2025-26 All-KCAC teams, highlighted by junior guard Kendall Locke being named KCAC Player of the Year.

Bethel finished the regular season 20-9 overall and 17-6 in conference play, powered by one of the most efficient offenses in the league and a defense that created problems every night.

Kendall Locke put together one of the most remarkable seasons in program history.

The junior averaged 18.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 3.4 steals per game while shooting 45.7% from the field. She finished the regular season with 522 total points, 189 assists, and 100 steals — placing her near the top of the KCAC in nearly every major statistical category.

In conference play alone, Locke averaged 17.0 points per game while dishing out 154 assists and collecting 78 steals in 23 contests.

Her season rewrote the Bethel record book. Locke broke seven program records:

  • Season Field Goals Attempted

  • Season Assists

  • Season Steals

  • Game Assists

  • Game Steals

  • Career Assists

  • Career Steals

She also delivered two of the most unforgettable moments of the year — a game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer against Tabor on January 14 and a last-second tip-in to defeat Ottawa on January 17.

Locke becomes just the second player in Bethel Women's Basketball history to earn KCAC Player of the Year honors, joining April Harpe (2014-15). Even more impressive — she accomplished it as a junior and sits just 38 points shy of the program's single-season scoring record.

Karlee Locke – Second Team All-Conference

Senior forward Karlee Locke earned Second Team All-KCAC honors after another strong and steady campaign.

Locke averaged 14.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game while shooting 44.1% from the floor. She added 76 steals and 52 blocked shots, anchoring Bethel defensively and providing consistent production on the offensive end.

In conference play, she averaged 13.9 points and 6.7 rebounds per contest, continuing to impact both ends of the floor throughout the league schedule.

Madyson McKinzie – Honorable Mention All-Conference

Junior guard Madyson McKinzie was named Honorable Mention All-KCAC after averaging 13.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

McKinzie shot 44.9% from the field and recorded 49 steals on the season, giving the Threshers another reliable scoring option in the backcourt. During conference play, she averaged 12.8 points per game while maintaining her presence on the glass and on the defensive end.

Emersyn Eischen – All-Freshman Team

Freshman forward Emersyn Eischen earned a spot on the KCAC All-Freshman Team after appearing in 29 games and making 24 starts.

Eischen averaged 6.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game while shooting 41.9% from the field. In conference play, she shot 86.2% from the free throw line and averaged 6.7 points per contest.

Her growth throughout the season provided Bethel with valuable frontcourt depth and consistency.
