TOPEKA, Kan. — Bethel College Dance Team closed out its 2026 season on the national stage this past weekend at the NAIA Competitive Dance National Championship, finishing 12th in the country at the Stormont Vail Events Center.

Bethel earned its place among the nation's top programs and delivered a strong showing across both rounds of competition. The Threshers posted a 77.63 in Friday night's preliminary round to advance into Saturday's finals, where they improved their score to a 78.72 to secure their final placement.

This year's group also etched its name into the record books, setting a new school record for performance score earlier in the season — a mark that reflects the team's progress, discipline, and commitment from start to finish.

With the national championship marking the final performance of the season, Bethel wraps up a memorable year that included both a conference championship and a historic scoring milestone.

The 2026 campaign comes to a close with the Threshers firmly established as one of the rising programs in NAIA competitive dance.
