The Bethel College flag football team fell to William Woods on Saturday, 37-0, in conference play.
Bethel battled defensively throughout the contest, recording three interceptions, including picks from Sarah Contreras and Nevaeh Gonzales, while several Threshers contributed multiple tackles on the defensive side.
Offensively, Kyndall Longman led Bethel through the air while Amber Clawson and Cj Bundy paced the receiving effort as the Threshers continued to search for offensive rhythm against a strong William Woods defense.
Bethel will return to action Wednesday at 5:00 PM, traveling to Midland University in Nebraska for their next matchup.
