SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Bethel placed 10th with 292 points in the men's 6k, led by
Asa Johnson's 30th-place finish in 19:28.8.
Johnson placed 30th in the men's 6k, finishing in 19:28.8 with a 5:13.5 average mile.
Marcus Fiedler added a 44th-place finish in 19:38.2, averaging 5:16.0 per mile.
Emma Graber finished 76th in the women's 5k in 20:50.6 with a 6:42.5 average mile.
Both Johnson and Fiedler ran times faster than the previous school record, which was set by Johnson in the Threshers previous race. The Bethel men also set a new 6k program record with a team average time of 20:42.
