A.B. Stokes enters his first year as the Offensive Coordinator for Bethel College, with his first season being in the fall of 2018. He will also work with Quarterbacks and offensive skill positions for the Thresher football program.

Previous to coming to Bethel, A.B. was the head football (2012-2017) and track coach at Larned High School in Larned Kansas. He also assisted the high school wrestling program. During his 6 year tenure as head coach of the Larned Indians, Coach Stokes helped the program pass several milestones including; ending a 28 year playoff drought and winning back to back 1st round playoff games for the first time in school history.

A.B. played for Coach Andy Lambert at Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL from 2003 to 2005 before following Coach Lambert to Sterling to finishing playing for Sterling College from 2005 to 2006. A.B. coached Receivers for Sterling for three semesters.

A.B. earned a degree in General Studies from Fort Hays State University in 2012.

A.B. is married to his wife Tasha, and they have four children: Alaijah, A.B. II, Arion, and Arya.
