Coach Mitchum is in his third season at Bethel as the B-Backs coach and the Director of Scouting.

Prior to Bethel, Mitchum worked as a contributor to "Sports in Kansas," the premier media outlet about Kansas prep and collegiate sports.

Prior to this, he had coached at Ellinwood High School in Ellinwood, Kansas and Santa Fe Trail High School outside Carbondale, Kansas.

Mitchum resides in Hesston, Kansas.
