Bethel College (KS)

Anthony Gonzalez is in his seventh season as an assistant coach for the Bethel Threshers softball program.

Anthony is the co-owner of G2 Athletics & Heat Fastpitch Academy based out of Newton. The business is celebrating its 15-year anniversary in 2024. Anthony has coached competitive fastpitch for over 18 years, coaching a number of age divisions within the organization including its college showcase teams.

Anthony grew up in the rich culture of Newton's "Mexican-American Fastpitch" community. His family has been involved since its inception 75 years ago.

Anthony is the hitting/slapping coach for the organization and gives private lessons. He is the College Recruiting Specialist for the organization and has helped put over 175 of their athletes into college on scholarship over the past few years.

Anthony is self-employed as a web developer through Gonzalez Consulting. He currently lives in Newton and has a son and daughter, Jordan and Darian.
