Bethel College (KS)

Assistant coach Tina Nickel enters her second season with the Threshers as their hitting instructor. 

Coach Nickel is a graduate of Wichita State University where she played softball for the Shockers from 1992-1995.  Tina graduated with a BA in social work and later completed her masters at Friends University in Christian Ministry. 

Tina has coached at the club, high school, and collegiate levels. From 1997-2003, Tina was the head coach at Friends University where she won KCAC Coach of the Year three times and guided the Falcons to four conference championships.  Tina currently coaches the Wichita Sluggers 8U girls softball team and gives private hitting lessons. 

Tina and her husband Scott have 8 year old twins, Rylee and Jackson and reside in Wichita.
