Bethel College (KS)

The 2016-17 season will be the first for Richard Southern at Bethel College.

Southern comes to Bethel from Central Christian College in McPherson, where he served as head men’s and women’s coach. Prior to his stint at Central Christian he was the assistant men’s and women’s coach and recruiting coordinator at Southwestern College, Winfield, KS for 2-years.

Southern is a 2012 graduate of University of Southwest, Hobbs, New Mexico, with a B.A. in business administration. He played top six during the duration of his college career and served as captain of his tennis team for two years. Southern earned his master’s in business administration from Southwestern College in 2015.
