Hedlund Scores 10th Goal in Threshers 2-1 Double-Overtime Loss to Braves

OTTAWA, Kan. - The Thresher Women's Soccer team hit the road this morning for a KCAC Conference contest against the Ottawa Braves. The Braves would take the double-overtime victory over the Threshers 2-1.
 
Claire Hedlund put the Threshers on the board first with a 5th-minute goal. Assisted by Jazlyn Reese, Hedlund scored her 10th goal of the season.
 
Bethel held their 1-0 lead until the 67th minute when the Braves were able to even up the contest 1-1. 
 
Neither team was able to break the 1-1 tie in regulation or the first overtime period. 
 
The Braves scored a golden goal in the 4th minute of the second overtime period to take the 2-1 victory over the Threshers. 

The Threshers will be back on the pitch on Wednesday, Oct. 20th as they host the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes at 5:00 PM.
