STERLING, Kan. - The Bethel College Men's Soccer team took on Sterling College on the road Saturday afternoon. The Threshers fell behind late in the first half and never got on the board in a 2-0 loss to the Warriors.
Â
Sterling got on the board in the 32nd minute when the attack swung the ball out wide and crossed it into the box where a Warrior headed the ball to the lower nearside post and past the Thresher keeper.Â
Â
Bethel gave the Warriors another goal in the 36th minute when a defender was trying to clear a ball from the box and wound up putting it into the goal.
Â
The Threshers were unable to push anything across the line despite outshooting the Warriors 7(4) to 6(5). Â
Â
Men's Soccer will be back on the pitch on Wednesday, October 27th, at 7:30 as they host Tabor College for Senior Night.
